One thing I love to do is go to a jewelers and create the perfect necklace! It's not super expensive and you get exactly what you want!

I like to have things that are represent my goals, for example, wanting to go to Paris and New York. I added my lucky penny and a small camera charm to make it even more personal! $15, PARIS NEW YORK;South Haven Art Fair, Michigan; $1 charm; $2 penny holder |
Try to make your necklace say something about you, not just little charms that look pretty. It's a statement piece and conversation topic when you where something that really means something to you. What I like to do is go to antique shops and find cool keys or charms, something that looks really cool and isn't something that you would find at Claire's or another brand name accessory store. You will get so many compliments on your necklace because it is so unique and YOU!

This was just a small necklace that my friend and I made before she moved. Add an old key from an antique shop and a ring from Bookmarc by Marc Jacobs (Because your like me and can't afford anything else by him) and your set! |
